What Exactly is Amie and how does it work?
Amie is a digital platform offering personalized whole-body recovery programs for women in their third trimesters through the first 12 weeks postpartum. After completing a questionnaire and short physical benchmark assessment, you'll receive a customized program addressing your specific needs, including pelvic floor strengthening, diastasis recti, and relief from common postpartum discomforts.
Who creates the programs? Are they truly personalized?
All programs are designed by Dr. Anna, a licensed physical therapist with 8+ years specializing in pelvic rehabilitation for new mothers. Your program is customized based on your specific symptoms, recovery stage, and strength as tested by our physical benchmark assessment.
When should I start using Amie?
You can begin using Amie during your third trimester to prepare your body for delivery, or you can start any time within the first 12 weeks postpartum. We recommend starting the postpartum program as early as you feel comfortable, even within the first week or two postpartum. The earlier you begin your recovery journey, the more effective the results typically are.
How much time will I need to commit each day?
Most exercises require only 10-15 minutes daily, designed specifically to fit into a busy mom's schedule. You may pick how many exercises you do each day.

Is Digital Programs as effective as In-Person PT?
Digital programs can be highly effective for many perinatal conditions. Amie's programs incorporate the same evidence-based techniques and exercises used in clinical settings, adapted to be safely performed at home with clear guidance. When under the care of a traditional physical therapist, most of your recovery happens at home, when you perform your prescribed home exercise program. Amie is like your home exercise program, but you don’t need to worry about finding someone to watch your baby to go to your appointment.
What issues can Amie help with?
Amie addresses a wide range of perinatal concerns including maintaining strength during pregnancy, preparing for birth, pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, back/hip pain, core weakness, posture issues, and general postpartum recovery.
How soon will I see results?
Many women notice improvements in symptoms within 2-3 weeks of consistent exercise. More significant changes in strength and function typically occur within 6-8 weeks.
Is this safe if I had a c-section or complicated delivery?
Yes. Your program will be tailored to your specific delivery experience and recovery needs. The assessment process identifies any special considerations for C-section recovery or complications. However, we always recommend asking your doctor or healthcare provider about any exercise programs, especially if you are unsure.

What if I need modifications or have questions?
The program includes modifications that are driven by your feedback. After each exercise session, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know if certain exercises were too easy or too hard. You'll also have access to our resource library and FAQs. For additional support, you can always contact us at INFO@ASKAMIE.CO.
What’s the difference between Amie and free postpartum exercise videos I can find online and on social media?
Unlike generic videos, Amie provides a comprehensive assessment and personalized program targeting your specific needs and recovery stage. Each exercise includes detailed form guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness.
